Arbitration Registry Platform – Ministry of Justice of Bulgaria
I was responsible for both the design concept and the full implementation of the new Arbitration Registry platform, officially launched by the Ministry of Justice on December 3, 2025. This system is part of a major national reform aimed at improving the transparency, legitimacy, and public trust in arbitration procedures across Bulgaria.
The Challenge
The platform introduces, for the first time in the country, a centralized digital registry for all arbitration institutions and arbitration cases established on the territory of Bulgaria. It supports entering and managing data for institutional arbitrations, ad hoc proceedings, and cases conducted by foreign institutions when the arbitration seat is in Bulgaria.
The registry is public regarding essential information such as registered arbitration institutions and the names and professions of arbitrators.
All sensitive case-related data (parties, documents, procedural details) is securely accessible only to authorized courts and Ministry officials, in full compliance with the regulatory framework.
Mobile Usability & Responsiveness
The platform was designed with a fully responsive layout, ensuring excellent usability and consistent performance across all devices. From large desktop screens to tablets and smartphones, the interface adapts seamlessly to different resolutions, maintaining clarity, accessibility, and smooth interaction. Special attention was given to touch-friendly navigation, readable layouts, and optimized loading, resulting in a reliable and high-quality experience even on mobile devices.
